The last time Alabama lost to a team that was the better team was the 2008 SEC Championship Game to Florida. The last time Alabama lost primarily due to how well the opponent played instead of losing because of self-inflicted mistakes and poor play was the 2010 loss to South Carolina.

So, 2010 was the last time an Alabama fan admitted to losing to a better opponent? I can Kige that.
