Yeah it did suck that year. Not only did they get pasted, but they faltered in a few games against inferior teams and didn't get gigged for it. Powers to be felt a USC vs OU would have a better draw.

This and last year are the reasons I only care about SEC titles now. SEC titles are never questioned and it's not a popularity contest like last year. There is no hidden formula that obviously changes from year to year. Is it who have you beaten? Who have you lost to? Or is it really dumb, like the "eyeball test" from last year.
