His record speaks for itself. He has been at LSU 7 years and averages well over 10 wins per year. He has never lost to Spurrier and holds his own with Saban and Urban. He beat Stoops twice while at OSU in the early 2000s when OU was dominant. He has beaten Tubberville, Fulmer, Richt, Petrino more than once.
Outside of bama and possibly SC fans, I bet fans of every other school in the SEC would take him over their current coach.
