Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas

The second quarterback shows up and it is Arkansas’ Tyler Wilson. It could be tough for Wilson this season, since the Arkansas program is in turmoil after losing coach Bobby Petrino. Wilson has the physical tools, but will be challenged. Every year there is a quarterback that enters the year a a top prospect but eventually falls. If Wilson can’t grasp the new offense and improve on his accuracy, he could be that guy, but for now, he remains near the top of the rankings.

Tyler Wilson ranked #4, which may be a little high (maybe not), but shoddy research. New offense? No. Accuracy? Everybody could improve on that, accuracy is not much of an issue with TW.

I bet he'll end up being a Jag.

Wilson's accuracy is great and we have the same offense. Who wrote this crock?

Wilson is the top prospect in the league, he gets first billing. And sometimes the only billing.

Jarvis Jones, LB, Georgia*
Jones is one of those underclassmen who could shoot up draft boards, but could benefit from returning to school. He still has a lot of room to develop but he definitely has the ability to blossom into a star pass rusher. Jones has the type of talent that scouts would be willing to take a chance on in the first-round, even if he is very raw.

lol wut?

1. Jones might have gone in the 1st round this year
2. He has already blossomed into a star pass rusher
3. Take a chance on? What aout this guy's game is exactly "raw"?

I get the impression that this guy hasn't sat down and watched a lot of film from Jarvis's season...

ETA: If Jarvis Jones's game is raw, then there are a frickton of O-Linemen that need polishing as well

The guy isn't informed at all, he said Wilson may fall due to our new offense, which we don't have.

And cue the Arkansas fans

Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina*

We finally have a running back show up on the list. Lattimore certainly looks the part and has all of the talent, but it remains to be seen how well he can recover from his torn ACL at the end of last season. If Lattimore is healthy, he is easily the best running back in the nation. Lattimore may not be in the same class as a guy like Trent Richardson skill wise, but he is a very talented rusher.

This is key. Also, this guy's opinion means precisely dick, his article is riddled with factual errors.

No, it's kind of illegal to post the entire article. An excerpt you can get away with. I think.

That's why the link to entire article is posted.

We'll see.

I will take a healthy Knile Davis over a healthy Lattimore. Lattimore is good, but he's still benefiting from his high school hype.

So they left off DJ Fluker, Jesse Williams, CJ Mosely, Nico Johnson, and Robert Lester?

I know you are baiting, and a master baiter at that but:

Knile:

2010 204 1322 6.5 ypc 71 long 13 td

Latt:

2010 249 1197 4.8 ypc 58 long 17 td

Each one's best (and healthy) season.

I was more talking about Lattimore benefiting from high school hype which is well... stupid. Dude has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with.
