I don't even think that guy played in the game.

yeah he came in and returned punts after maze went down. He actually gained a few yards on one of them, which was a positive because all season LSU didnt give up shite on punt returns, until maze broke one.

Chris Jones is an interesting talent for Bama. He impressed early, but he wasnt really big enough to be an effective blocker as a true freshman. He weighed about 160, i'd guess. He's put on some muscle this and performed well in the spring. A lot of Bama fans are comparing him to Freddie Millons because of their similar running styles.

I think the comparison to OBJ is not too far off, but at this point you have to give the advantage to OBJ because he has done more and showed more in his freshman campaign. I've said before that i think OBJ is a guy who brings electricity to the LSU offense every time he touches the ball, maybe moreso than anyone else on their offense last year. I dont think he will have much trouble moving into the 1 WR spot, but it will be an adjustment for him. IMO, OBJ benefited greatly from the style of offense that LSU ran. OBJ was most effective when J.Lee was playing QB. Under Lee, LSU was a power running team that loved to bomb it over the top to Randle. Opposing defenses would come up to stop the power run and keep safety help over the top on Randle. Teams didnt really gameplan much for OBJ and he was able to take advantage of that. There will be a little adjustment this year, but I think OBJ will be a very good player for LSU again this year.
