I hate being stuck also, it generally takes a day for wherever they get me to stop being sore.

I got Imitrex today in Deltoid and my arm is pained.

I'm a medic in the Army so I'm used to sticking people and getting stuck for iv's. Doing just blood is/should be crazy easy. All you have to do is hit the vein, that's it. No, worry about making sure the line is in for an extended period, no securing the line to anything, no unscrewing any caps/hubs, no pushing meds, or switching bags.

It would be like telling someone they don't have to make the shot, all they have to do is hit the backboard.

Are you a hard stick? Like, are your veins very hard to be seen? Sometimes that will cause your arm to be sore, because the needle sometimes has to go deeper for the vein and we have to maneuver the needle while it is inside your arm.
