Back before I had a brain, had a friend that did oil field work and had plastic explosives (red and green gel looking stuff in a plastic roll). We too some of that stuff out one night and set it in the middle of an old abandoned logging road/dump site. When that stuff blew, it flashed like a strobe and was so fricking loud, I'll bet people within 20 miles could hear it. All I could think was "let's get the hell out of here". But it was fun!

Wouldn't even dream of doing something like that nowadays.
