Its not John L...
On an interesting note...some guys keeps trying to post that its a HOME RUN HIRE on a premium board, but it keeps getting deleted...Never gives a name, but keeps posting the same thing

Fulmer declined a meeting. Wasn't interested and I don't blame him. Want to be remembered on top of UT fiasco for running another Top 5 team into dirt? Too much pressure. He is having fun being a pappaw and fishing 2 or 3 times a year out in Wyoming

Wow!
What a joke. Guy had to have been promised a long term position on the staff if he is not named head coach next. He just took a HC job in 2012 and already bailed on them. BAD BUSINESS
He is now supposed to go recruiting and talk to young people about being committed and to stay true to their word and have values???

As far as an interim, he's as good as anybody else, and better than most people we could have gotten from the outside.
He's Petrino's mentor, and already knows the offense and defense. He won't be calling plays anyway.
He will be there to keep shite organized and keep morale up. Pretty much it.

If we hire John L. Long should just hand in his fricking resignation now. If this is his "best interim" solution then I can only imagine how bad he will frick up a legitimate coaching search.
