Miles, Saban, Chizit, Meyer all won SEC and NC within 3 years on the job in just the last 6 years.
Some coaches couldn't even win the Division in their first four years., Was it the coach or the school?

But the schools these coaches have coached at have had big down periods in their history. So it implys that just because you have a good program it won't make you successful consistently through coaching transitions.
However good coaches have looked mediocre at some lowly programs.
Its a combination of coach and program. The program needs to have the support of boosters, support of fans, and have nice enough things to not be a detriment to recruiting. The coach needs to be willing to build the program and have a successful system and coaching philosophy. We need a great coach and we need to get out of our own way and we will reach whatever heights the coach is capable of taking us to.

god, I can't wait to bitchslap Arky again next year. Right back to where you belong; 3rd place ahead of juggernauts like ole miss, state, and vandy. It must suck to know that in another conference, y'all could be great.
