That makes zero sense to me. I have never heard of a school wanting a coach to do less recruiting than the laws allow.

I read two books on Leach's tenure @ Tech his firing seemed funky but he collected no money in his lawsuit, that being said there will be legal posturing on both side before an agreement is reached. Petrino's attitude today may have some roots in his legal team's stance.

`this doesn't pass the sniff test. i mean he wasn't fvcking her on recruiting trips. what was she the closer or something and if she was she sucked at it becuase our recruit classes suck balls, which i am sure she does as well.

I am sure that the legal advisors spent the weekend analyzing all of the different scenarios. I imagine the best case scenario was keeping him and dealing with the fallout, based on the one incident. If there was any other information, you can bet they switched it to figuring out how to fire him without having to pay more.
