Exactly. And honestly, as long as she was in the Foundation it would have been bad but he probably would have kept his job. But he hired her to direct the recruiting process for the football program! That's what'll likely get him canned. That made him her boss. And, he hired her the day HR posted the job saying all applicants before 4/27 would be given due consideration. Then, he lied about the accident to his boss, and caused a major black eye to the University that came to light when the police report went public.

The tweet is exactly right. Gotta give the lawyers time to rack up a bunch of hours researching potential laws broken, potential contract violations and potential liability exposure to the University and the state for the inappropriate relationship. Then, they've gotta write an opinion that says what we all know - they have reason to terminate for cause, voiding his contract and negating the severance buy-out.

I still say it's 50/50 he's gone in my unbiased objective view.

Arkansas people are greedy pigs and they don't want to commit mutiny on the golden boat captain just yet.

Depends on what is revealed from the investigation.

IMHO

If Arkansas wins a national championship he can sleep with all the 25 year old assistants he wants to.

Stewart Mandel ?
@slmandel Petrino hired Dorrell March 28. That was last week. How "previous" was that relationship, really Bobby?

i'd love for arky to keep him to watch the complete shite SHOW of a season

all that would be talked about would be the affair, the cover up etc.

am taking all wagers on the firing of Bobby Petrino....I say he coaches next Fall and those who don't think so and are willing to lay some money where your considerable mouths are, well, I'm ready....any amount...we can figure out someone who will hold the money for a nominal fee

Was Rick Pitino's affair with someone he'd hired 4 days before? That makes it a bit more sticky. Employers aren't keen on employees making them vulnerable to lawsuits.

Oh believe me, I think he's fired.

I'm just saying that Pitino proved you can get past a fricked up sex scandal.

Its hard to imagine that they let Dorrell remain a UA employee after this but like has been said, you can't fire her and not Bobby without a major shite storm. So here's my best guess as to what happens:

After working out a hefty severance package, Dorrell quietly resigns from her position.

Petrino is fine xxx amount of dollars and suspended for a game or to against directional state university to begin the season.

Serious question: If the relationship has been going on for weeks/months, basically longer than the start of her new employment, wouldn't that be a conflict of interest? I.E. She fricked her way to the top. That doesn't set a good example, but hey 10 wins a season man! Yea!

NVM already addressed...

If he was nailing her when he had her hired that's a big problem
