Scrimmage stats ...
PASSING
Murray 9-18 INT 74 yards
Mason 5-12 59 TD
LeMay 2-7 INT 44 yards
RUSHING
Harton 8-24
Marshall 5-18
Crowell 4-19, TD
Malcome 4-13, TD
RECEIVING
JSW 3-51
Lynch 3-17
M Brown 2-17
King 3-21
Rome 30yard TD catch
Mitchell 1-20
DEFENSE
S Williams 2 PBU 4.5 tackles INT (34 yard return)
Drew 4 tackles
B Smith 4 tackles
Thornton 3.5 tackles, 3 sacks
Vasser 3.5 tackles, 2 sacks
J Jones 3 tackles, 2 sacks
Rambo 3 tackles
Ogletree 3 tackles, 0.5 sack
Mitchell 3 tackles
Swann 3 tackles, sack
Commings 3 tackles
Gilliard INT (2 yard return)
Faloughi sack
Lowe sack
G Smith sack
Morant sack
Geathers 0.5 sack (with Tree)
The amount of sacks looks high because merely touching the QB was counted as a sack.
Malcolm Mitchell contributed on both sides of the ball.
If JSW, can contribute like that, then we can commit MM to D for as long as he's need.
Shawn Williams putting the DBs on his back...thank god, somebody had to.
Very nice.
Awesome.
I bet it wasn't Professor Kemp.
Wait, what? I actually enjoyed reading this.

There have been six players transfer since late September, including four defensive backs.
The others are cornerback Derek Owens, safety Jakar Hamilton and cornerback Jordan Love.
Georgia also dismissed three reserves – including two defensive backs – in February after a theft in a campus dorm room.
Very nice.

Dallas Lee, who has worked at center this spring, also did not scrimmage for an undisclosed reason. He was on the sideline not dressed out.
Awesome.

Nose guard John Jenkins returned after missing two practices to complete a project that was due Friday. He said he needed extra time to meet with a professor during practice time.
I bet it wasn't Professor Kemp.
quote:
Richard Samuel worked mostly at fullback Saturday, Richt said. He left Jarvis Jones impressed. “Charging Richard Samuel with battery to my shoulder lol” Jones tweeted. …Isaiah Crowell had four carries for 19 yards in the scrimmage. “Isaiah ran the ball hard,” quarterback Aaron Murray said

Why did Jakar Hamilton transfer?
I remember when we were recruiting the 2 GA juco DB's, him and Dequan Menzie. I remember wanting Hamilton over DM during the process. Menzie turned into a 2 year starter and won a National Championship. Now Menzie is looking to be drafted in the 3rd round, and Hamilton is at noname U.

so basically our defense is just gonna whip our offenses arse all off season
because he ended up not adapting well to the defense and got buried in the depth chart. he would have been playing now with the suspensions but last year he'd be a back up at best

Lol At all the sacks our O-line has given up.
I really hope our defense is just that amzing.

Im very concerned. They keep mixing it up and can't find a rotation they like.

Agreed and that's piss poor.

UGA had enough players left on the team to hold a scrimmage?

absolutely. i could see 10-2 and 9-3 very easily and either one can be disappointing because they only team that should really be a toss up is South Cackalacky. 11-1 should easily be the bench mark but we will go 10-2, 9-3 and everyone will be ok with it because we are in the outback. we may even give up a gift wrapped SEC title.

just as it was last season.

last season had the stink of a 6-7 season and a bunch of young guys still learning a defense so even then there was a ton more leeway. we just went 10-4 and return pretty much everyone and even add more guys on for an even easier schedule. like when i say 11-1 should be the bench mark i am not saying like we should do it with the talent i am saying like any other competent staff could go 11-1 with this talent. and that 1 loss doesn't even have to be there, USCe is no world beater, that's as even a match up as you get.
yet richt will go 10-2/9-3 and maybe miss out on atlanta but because it is a high # it'll be enough
ETA: or richt pulls the season of his life out of his arse

I'll be beyond pissed if we miss out on ATL.

i will be too. i don't think it's much to ask for us as fans for Georgia to at least be in the national discussion ya know?

not at all, especially give how weak the east is right now.
For USCe to even be legit they need a WR to step up.
Florida needs a QB.
Tenn is fricked for many reasons.
Vandy is Vandy.
Kentucky sucks arse.

no way the dawgs dont make atlanta, matter of fact georgia's got a real shot to be in the national title hunt, get by game 2 b/c of the suspensions and such, then there is the florida game which always gives georgia hell, and the south carolina game which now that it isnt game 2 i dont think uga will have a problem with them...
UGA should be favored in every regular season game this year, 11-1 would almost be a disappointment this year

no we agree, it's whether richt is competent enough to do that. we have lost so many already and i mean apparently more are on the way. factor in injuries that are bound to happen and the fact it is only april so we could still have more suspensions we may not even have a 2 deep vs mizzou
