I don't agree with City, but I also don't fault his reasons for forming his opinion. we were never the same after the hand checking rule was changed. We suffered greatly when the media timeouts were standardized at 16, 12, 8, and 4 minutes. I remember our NCAAT game against Iowa in Boise. We had them on the ropes in the altitude. Huffing and puffing and grabbing their shorts. Then, a 3 minute tv timeout. They got their breath and we were ineffective the rest of the way. I think there is merit to that.

Thank you. You nailed it. You're right Hawgeye, I have no facts other than I've seen more home cooking in the SEC over the last 20 years than I ever thought was possible. And I just THOUGHT the SWC had crooked refs. If you have not picked up on he fact that we foul, like A LOT, and it isn't for lack of effort, but because the home team almost ALWAYS gets the calls in the league, then you haven't been watching. Our stellar home record vs. our crappy road record is nothing new. Heck Nolan struggled on the road in the league, and guess what kind of system he ran?

Great, and in that same breath, Nolan won a National title, played for another, went to 3 Final Fours.

Guess what system he ran?

Anderson has been a head coach for 10 years now. He's been in the post season 7 times. Got to an Elite 8, 2 Sweet Sixteens. Won 30+ games, won 20+ games 7 times. Won a conference championship, won a conference tourney title.

Guess what system Anderson runs?
