Those are people, not moments.

I would say Derrick Thomas' 7 sacks against the Aggies.

Bo over the top.

Stabler's run in the mud.

Van Tiffin's 52 yard FG at expiration.

Phillip Doyle's kick to win against Tennessee 9-6.

Just quickly off the top of my head.

eta- hard to pick single moment. Buy yeah.. Shaun Alexander's 291 rushing is definitely in there, as is Reed's game against Bama.

Exactly what Bo Jackson "moment" are you referring to that would be the greatest in SEC history? Or Tebow for that matter?

Warren Morris's has a case, the other 2 don't.

In all seriousness, it should be Grant Gillis intercepting a Husky pass to seal the 20-19 win for UA in the '26 Rose Bowl. That game changed everything. Southern football stood up and everyone took notice..

It's hard to pick a single moment, especially one that has any meaning for the entire conference. Here is my try, though.

First SECCG
2009 SECCG - two undefeateds playing for a BCSCG berth.
2011 - Top 3 in the polls
1-9-12 - Six in a row
