So please give me your rundown of Arkansas

Arkansas has seven natural geographic divisions, Missouri has two. Arkansas has mountains (Ozarks and Ouachitas), the Arkansas river valley, the gulf coastal plain, the timberlands of south AR, Crowley's Ridge, Arkansas Delta, and Central Arkansas, which is a mix of many regions in the center of the state.

Aside from the Ozarks, which are shared, the northern half of Missouri, including the area mentioned around I-70 is no different than the square flat farmland of Iowa, Nebraska, or Kansas. No one thinks those states are especially fun to drive across, and MO is no different. I've driven every mile of I-40 across Arkansas, and I've driven every mile of I-70 across MO and I say Missouri is no different than any other farm state in the Midwest.

But I'll let other ranters make their own decision. Here is the MO video. Here is I-540 in AR. To each his own.
