Arkansas native Johnny Cash's infamous 'Sooie' during Folson Prison Blues. He was known to yell this a lot during his live shows.

There's a ton in songs by Robert Earl Keen, including the "Front Porch Song" which is entirely about A&M/College Station. There's several in other Texas country songs by some alums and artists as well. Not sure if REK or the others qualify as "famous" outside the state though.

Justin Moore sneaks Razorback gear into all his videos, usually hats wore by him or others in the video.

They play his songs all the damn time during the day, my workers like country, so we listen to country as long as production stays up...

Not many know this factoid, but Happy Birthday was first sung in 1912 to honor Frank Broyles on his 44th birthday.

Johnny Cash.

Yet the marketing people at Ark would rather play other, hokey, stupid trash country at games and never, ever play Johnny Cash.

Every Sigur Ros song is about Starkville and MSU. It is, however, sung in a ridiculous, made-up language called Icelandic and we might never know the true meaning.
