Finally an LSU fan with an intelligent reply and opinion without profanity and taking it to the gutter...+1 to you...i agree the game should be close and will just my opinion hinge on Mett if he is the real deal or not.

wow, I was about to do something stupid knowing that a LSU fan could not please you with a response. Bottom line, the '12 is not round 3. If LSU could have played Bama again after the BCS that would be round 3.
LSU was in a difficult situation being asked to beat a quality team again. Not only was it easier for saban to have his team more fired up, but the way bama lost only made them madder.
Maybe, the embarrassing loss in the BCSCG will motivate LSU in 2012, but it is a different year with different players. About the same way that bama was going to kick LSU's assa on nov. 5 because of the revenge factor.

As a matter of fact, you've only beaten us ONCE in Alashama in 13 years - '09.

Mett was the equivalent of an early enrollee true freshman last year. Our team was stacked, and Les always goes with experience. See; TBob versus La'el.
I can only think of one recent example of a JUCO QB coming in and making an immediate impact(care to guess Bammers?) You guys can use the word unproven, but don't act like the guy won't at the very least be an upgrade.
