I wold fly into STL and drive to columbia. It is about a 90 minute drive, easy, down I-70 (110 miles)

The regional airport is COU. you can check into connecting to there through STL but its just as easy to drive.

the other option is to fly to KC (MCI) but its nearly a 2.5 hr drive from there.

re hotels, you can look at Jefferson City (30 miles south), Kingdom City, Fulton and Boonville for options.

My son lives in Columbia. He says it's cheapest to fly into St. Louis and rent a car. The town is nutty about being in the SEC and in-town hotels are going to be expensive IF you can find one. Get a map and check out the roadside motels within 25 miles of Columbia, back toward St. Louis. It'll be lots cheaper. The best bar in town is called Flat Branch. My son is a long-time bartender there. Tell Jarrett I sent you. GEAUX
