It may be hard to believe if your alma mater is a school like TCU but in most cases people are proud of their Alma mater and become passionate in their support. I have a few friends that are still huge/bigger Bama fans than Auburn even though they go to AU. They still are rabid AU fans in non iron bowl games and huge fans

My cousin was a Bama fan growing up, went to Auburn and became a boog. I don't talk to him anymore.
