I am ok with loading up on offensive skill guys too.

I think the fact that Texas High School teams run such advanced offenses is one of our biggest long-term advantages over other SEC programs. Offense is the focus in this state, and I think that is a good thing. The Wrecking Crew can stay in the history books as long as we win.

I just fear that if we don't get some more OLs soon then long-term we won't have the ability to maximize those offensive skill players.

We are far behind SEC defenses at A&M with an ncaa ranking last year of our scoring defense ranked at ncaa #76, our special teams ranking even lower and turnovers worse ranked at ncaa #100. (NCAA)

The top SEC teams have three deep with four and five star ranked players.

Under Shermam we signed 88 three star ranked players in five classes while 'bama signed 84 four and five star ranked players, florida 81 and lsu 78 during the same time. A&M was down to 28 four and five star ranked players under Sherman.(R)

Sumlin must sign 11 four star ranked players on D at 11 positions in this class, and repeat in the following 2 classes just to be competitive in the SEC, coach them and build a top defense from scratch.

Today we have 2 four star Defensive Tackles committed and nine more defensive positions yet to get four or five star ranked commits.

Go fast Sumlin!
