No one outside the SEC thinks of this until the 3rd quarter when the SEC team is running all over their poorly conditioned D that has been out there all day...

Except for the fact that "death nail" is not real stuff.
"Death knell" is probably what you were looking for.
Death Nail is some shite that some highly intelligent person added to Urban Dictionary because nobody else actually says shite like that.
