What would happen if Arkansas beat LSU last year?

This is not intended to be the start of a flame war, and if this has been done forgive me, but I'm asking legitimately.
If that happened, let's assume that whoever won the west would still have won the SEC. So at the end of the season, you'd have LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, and Stanford all with 1 loss going into the bowls. What the frick would've happened?

A couple of girls wouldn't have been raped by their fathers.

Ultimately, I think Bama would have still gone to the Championship, and based on our head to head, Arkansas would have gone to a BCS bowl game over LSU. Then again, LSU did have a stronger schedule last year, so it is possible they would have gotten the BCS bowl over Arkansas.

Some guy wouldn't have had nuts drug across his face. Or at least an LSU fan wouldn't have.

You're putting Arkansas and LSU fans in the same thread, you really didn't expect it?

It seems like every time I come to the SECRant, there are Arkansas fans acting like assholes.

Petrino would have been less friendly

It's very simple:
Alabama would have won the SEC West tie breaker, played UGA and won the SEC Title. Alabama would have been #1 in the BCS rankings and would have played #2 Oklahoma State for the National Title. Bama would have absolutely destroyed Okie State. Bama wins SEC Title in addition to National Title.
That's about all that is pretty certain. Everything else gets muddied up a bit.
Maybe, Arkansas gets back to the Sugar Bowl, but maybe not. Arkansas went last year and LSU would be sitting at 11-1 too and it is a 3 way tie between Bama, LSU, and Arkansas. Pure speculation of everyone's part on what happens here, but my best guess is that Arkansas plays either Stanford or Michigan in this game.
LSU plays in either the Sugar Bowl (if the Sugar Bowl committee picks them, which would be quite likelty btw) or the Cap One Bowl against Michigan State.
But..............Guess what? It didn't happen and LSU won their 4th SEC Championship since 2001 and then got their arse kicked by Bama in the National Title game.
It is what it is!!

the irony is that it might have worked out better for LSU
Arkansas would have probably been ranked behind LSU and Bama and Ok State might have been given more of a fair shake... plus LSU might not have showed up so flat in the BCS NCG
LSU probably still makes the SEC CCG and therefore the BCS CG to face either Bama or Ok State

Well, obviously, as the events of the postseason demonstrated, the only reasonable outcome would have been for LSU to get a rematch with Arkansas in the NC game.

the correct grammar for your GERMANS question is
What WOULD HAVE happened.....
your question is stated in the future. However the events are in the past.
you want/need a past tense that reflect the conditional nature of the question.
and its so fricking Germans. Where the frick were you?
Simple version: the highest BCS rated SEC west team would go to the SEC champ game, UNLESS the #2 SEC west team were within 5 places of the #1 SEC west team in the last BCS standings and had won head to head with #1 SEC west team. So if Bama were #2 and within 5 places of Ark, Ark would not have gone. Bama would have.
