The Ole Miss D-Line took a big step back underneath him imo.

He was the D-line coach at Ole Miss for the past three years.

For a high school level team then yes it would be. He and the BBQ gang in Auburn were never worth much (at least on the recruiting trail and coaching wise after 2006).

But Price played at A&M so that may add extra motivation and result in a better coach.

I agree with what the other OM posters are saying. I remember going to one of the the first spring practices when the new staff arrived, and I had a bad feeling about him for some reason. His style just didn't seem like it was going to work with our guys. Like others have said, he came into a good situation with the players we had on the roster, but when it came time to actually coach some younger guys up, he dropped the ball.
