If aTm can compete out of the gate, you should be able to turn this on its head and beat the hell out of the Horns and the rest of the Big 12 (or whatever they are)with the statement of their inferiority. Use your success to show them to be the wimps they are to the kids all over Texas.

Right. However, we must achieve the minimum amount of success to do that. IMO, that will take consecutive 8-win seasons, which will be very difficult to do before the 2015 recruits sign. It means we have to do it in 2013 and 2014.
If Sumlin is the guy, I think we can do it. And if we don't, we remain in limbo unless the next 3 season produce more Ls than Ws. In that case, A&M will be in a huge hole as the entire state will be coming down very hard with ammunition to back their positions.
