Except for the few smart ..... the responses have been interesting to read. My thots. Petrino is not failing in recruiting. The results speak for themself. Yes, only Arkansas fans and Ole Miss fans can relate to where a program is after Nutt. If Ole Miss goes 5-7, 8-5, 10-3, 11-2, in the next 4 years, then you know you have a hellava coach. Petrino, for the most part gets the players he wants. Does he miss some? Sure. But he gets the kind of players he wants.

Last year was the first year he was able to do much significant redshirting. They redshirted the QB that Garrick Mcgee thot was the best QB in high school the year before. Why was he not a 5*? Because he was a coaches son and most schools didn't bother to try and recruit him. No national recruiting, no 5*. CBP has said we redshirted elite talent last year, the recruiting services don't seem to think so. My money is on CBP. We will only get better, and we are pretty damned good now. We just haven't had the depth to seemlessly plu people in. That's coming.
