I don't know how you guys feel, but I think Mizzou is going to have to start looking at recruiting a big fullback as well as some larger runningbacks. These smaller backs seem to just not be big enough to run through arm tackles unless you just have a true talent like Henry Josey.
Gurly was impressive though he didn't have a huge game against us, but think of what a Gurly could do in this spread with the linemen we have comming in.
If were going to compete with the bigger power teams in the SEC, were going to need size at runningback as well.
I know it sounds like I'm hitting the panic button, but it's just an observation.

Eric beisel with a broken foot, likely out for the rest of his senior season. Too bad, but hopefully he will be back to full speed by next year

Yup. Had offers from Arky and Kentucky so at least we now have a bit of precedent for signing *somebody* from old SEC territory when going against other SEC teams. Getting on up to the level of competing for kids down there with offers from Georgia and Auburn and South Carolina and Florida and the like will take longer (and I'm sure us beating UGA this weekend would have accelerated that process a little more, oh well) but this is a start.
