I know, but it's always nice to add alittle depth.

In all honesty though, is be real surprised if he's a true son and ends up a tiger

Our recent O-line injuries emphasize the need for quality depth. There is definitely an opportunity for Hannon to succeed at Mizzou. He has to see that.

Hannon also knows that Arkansas doesn't have a single OL in this year's recruiting class, while Mizzou already has 4. If all else is equal, the lack of competition for playing time might be enough to put Arkansas over Mizzou. Nebraska has 2 OLs so far.
Also, the fact that his announcement is over twitter instead of on his high school campus bodes for a non-Missouri commitment as none of the local KC football fans will cheer for Arkansas or Nebraska.
my humble opinions

I don't think he will choose Mizzou either but I've never understood why this would be a factor. If I understand correctly I believe Gill, Campos and Rhodes are Tackles and Abeln is a Center. Hannon projects as a Guard in college. Seems like it'd be a non-factor to me. I could be missing something though.

Hearing it won't be Mizzou for Hannon

Some people project Hannon as a tackle

If Hannon wants to play for Pelini more power to him. When I see him on TV acting like an arse it makes me want to punch him.

Yep, us and Nebraska were both recruiting him as a tackle first.

Obviously, I wish he had chosen Mizzou. But, that's life on the recruiting trail. Good luck to him at Nebraska.

How clemson recruits as well as they do is just beyond me. Here's to hoping we steal one of them

4* Juco LB Markus Golden cleared to play. Leaves only Torrey Boozer.
