I would like one of those schollies to be used on a 2-guard to replace Shawn Smith.

Duane Wilson choosing between Memphis, Mizzou, and Marquette tomorrow @ 3. I'm thinking Marquette.

I hope our tournament performance doesn't hurt our chances. He did come for a 2nd visit right beforehand. Just seems a strong showing could have helped convince him to travel further from home.

Haven't followed Wilson very closely, but I agree it appears Marquette is the leader.

big guy, maybe even a JUCO. I'm afraid we are going to be awful small and thin up front again next year. Oh well, the 4 guard system worked pretty well this year.

I dont think we'll need to use 4 guards next year. We'll have Bowers, Criswell, Rosburg, Jankovic, and Feldman even though he'll be a walk on. Maybe use a schollie on a big man and a pg to learn under Dixon and Pressey.

Bowers is a stud 3 or 4, but a 5 is pushing it. I hope Criswell can step right in and be effective. He is probably the only player with strength close to Ratliffe/Moore. I think Rosburg needs a year to really be effective, but it would be sweet if he suprises. Jankovic is going to be really good and I am really excited about him. At least I hope that becomes true, but he is still on the light side.

6'10" Eric Moeller from DeSmet HS, decided today to be a preferred walk-on at Mizzou instead of taking scholorships to play at Denver or Arkansas St. Apparently this kid only weighs 210 lbs, so I would expect him to be taking a Redshirt year next year.
Either way, welcome to the Tiger family Eric

mubobby commenting that OSU may be the biggest threat to signing Ezekiel Elliott. He is visiting OSU again on 3/30. Here is a Q&A from an OSU blog from a couple of days ago. Nothing in it was ground breaking, same old recruiting answers. It does lack the homerism spin from the recent ARRecruiting story also from a couple of days ago.

Ya that's turning out to be an odd situation he may not even be in this years class. He is saying all the things we want a mizzou player to say so hopefully eventually he will commit if the staff thinks he's good enougg
