Dee Liner... best name ever.

Plus, I'm hoping Loeffler likes Jeremy Johnson better than Sandberg when he evaluates them.

Is there an offer list somewhere? I'd like to see that along with some insight into what we will be recruiting for next year.

TIA.

Assume little attrition and AU can only sign 18 for 2013, how would you break it down by position? Or due to the low number would you go after best-available with the new-found depth @ AU?? Maybe this:
QB- 1
RB- 2
WR- 2
OL- 2
TE- 0
K- 1

DE- 2 SDE a priority
DT- 2
OLB- 2
MLB- 1
DB- 3
P- 1
Total of 19 is one over, what change is needed??

Stole this from another board. Does this sound about right?

A source close to the recruitment of receiver Stefon Diggs from Good Counsel in Olney Md., believes the 5-star has eliminated Florida and will choose between Auburn and Ohio State. Not surprisingly, Diggs is being told he can be the next Percy Harvin at Ohio State. The Gators’ current roster is already stocked with a lot of “next Percy Harvins.” Now, Diggs is supposed to officially visit Maryland this weekend so the in-state school is still in the mix too. He will announce a decision on Friday, Feb. 10. Auburn receivers coach Trooper Taylor stays in close contact with Diggs including a phone conversation this morning.

Auburn leads for DeAndre Woods.

quote:

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Woods admittedly grew up an Auburn fan, along with his mother. He remembers watching players like Ronnie Brown. Woods' claims the Tigers still lead for his services, despite his most recent offer from the west coast.

"It's still Auburn, but I'm looking at USC, I'll probably take a visit there," said Woods. "But Auburn is my favorite."

Moral victory...

@JHokanson: Stefon Diggs tells TerrapinTimes.com Auburn was his No. 2 choice. Some said the Tigers were a long shot. Regardless, Diggs is a Terp.

Update on Dee Liner:

quote:

“I feel real good about Auburn and I’m still 100 percent committed,” Liner said. “I’ve been an Auburn fan all my life and it feels like home down there whenever I go.”

quote:

“It was good down there. I think I stayed two nights,” he said. “I hung out with Kiehl Frazier, Tre Mason and Gabe Wright. “Gabe said defensive line is a nice position to play at Auburn and I’ll have a lot of fun.”

quote:

Liner, 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds, met new defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder for the first time. “He’s a nice cool, guy but I have to get to know him better,” he said. “He told me I’m the type of guy they’re looking for in their defense.”

5-star DT Montravius Adams from Dooly County in Vienna, Ga., said he had a real good visit and was impressed watching practice. He said he could see himself playing at Auburn. He's in no hurry to make a decision. He may trim his list this fall and have a decision close to Signing Day or at the UnderArmour game.
