Is there a rule that says they have to sit out a game if ejected? For some reason, I thought there was. It may be a high school rule though.

The Flagrant 2 (which is what was called) only warrants an immediate ejection.

I think at the least the SEC needs to look at a one game suspension or something. Whether it had been a UK guy or not but I have a real issue with someone intentionally trying to hurt a player like that. Thankfully Davis came out okay.

It was idiotic, cheap, and deserving of an ejection but I think you're taking it overboard.

And I'm on my phone so I can't find the link but apparently the following quote was in The Advocate today from Trent Johnson on the foul:

"I want to look at the tape, but I struggle with that kind of play. That ain't good. It's one thing to foul a kid hard in the confines of the game going to the basket or whatever, but bottom line is you can't get frustrated just because he's handling your tail and you can't guard him. That's not what we're about."

I'd like to see Johnson take a stronger approach to it.

Thanks. I wasn't sure.

I agree, an ejection should warrant a suspension of at least one game.
