Both. Parts of the stadium are extremely old and I believe there are certain structural issues regarding some of the really old parts. Mostly it is cosmetic though, the stadium is really cumbersome to navigate because the sections are only linked at one part (which you can tell by looking at it). There are also certain luxuries that we should have that we don't.

No way will we go that big. I think we would do a full lower deck on the south endzone and it would be around the mid 90's. We can easily fill that, no way could we fill 115.

No way they tear down Kyle Field. The stadium is centrally located on the campus and it doesn't make sense, plus people would probably burn those responsible at the stake because of the history. There's an area on the far west area of our campus where they could build a stadium, but it will never happen. They will renovate the current structure. The talk about playing at Reliant stems from completely renovating every area of the structure (which is a massive project) at the same time and playing at Reliant for a year. The other plan would be doing it over several years and doing it one side at a time.

Nothing will happen until after the 2013 season at the earliest.
