It appears that it has affect AU more than Bama. Mainly because Bama has a stronger brand, and recruits well OOS, and owns a good portion of GA thanks to Kirby Smart. Also, look at how Bama went into LA and took its best prospect. I don't think it affects Bama much, but it obviously affects AU.

I agree with this to a certain degree. This whole past season and other off field issues hurt our recruiting as well. Gave recruiters plenty to spin and use in a negative way against Auburn. Yes many employ the practice if not all to some level.
Auburn will still finish strong, but not to the level one would hope for a NC bump.

disagree.... especially within the state of AL... outside of Louis (who's a south FL guy to begin with) FSU, who have we lost out on?... Cashier and Winston would be T-town bound if not for FSU.
Now, come Feb 1st and we lose out on Williams, Goldman, Darby, i'll change my tune.
