Barrett Trotter has announced as of this pm his plans for the future... BT actually has the idea that he will be drafted thus has declared as an early entry for the NFL.

No, asswipe, that is nothing like what is happening.

He has eligibility left.

What MINISCULE chance he has of getting attention from any NFL team can only come *after* forfeiting that eligibility. Ergo, he has to declare for early entry.

If he does NOT do that, his miniscule chance decreases to ZERO because teams wouldn't have a choice.

Nice job being a dick about a good guy.

Good for him for not letting the haters get him down. The NFL is full of terrible QBs, why cant Trotter be one of those? Tarvaris Jackson starts for an NFL team. That tells you all you need to know about NFL qb selection.

He wasn't going to come back to Auburn either way so why not at least TRY to get drafted as unlikely as it seems.

If he doesn't, oh well he moves on in life.

Good Luck to him, hopefully he will succeed in the NFL and have a long career. I always want players from AL, even if the went to Au, to do well in the NFL. I Don't see the reason for some Au fans bashing/laughing at him for declaring for the draft early; just becuase he wasn't as good as they wanted him to be in college.

This is news to who?

Everyone can laugh at him, but despite being done with Auburn, he has nothing to lose throwing his name in. He's played football his entire life, where's the harm in putting your name in to see what happens?

You just watch, Trotter is going to be a perennial Pro Bowler when he gets his chance. Hell, I bet he could throw the ball over mountains.
