Dude. A spear out of ladle is some MacGyver shite! Or manage to make some brass knuckles out of foil, rocks and wood.

Yeah... a real MacGyver solution would be to build a crossbow.

This is a simple argument. Athletic scholarships are for ONE year only. There are guidelines to renewal that are CLEARLY outlined within the scholarship. This is similar to an academic scholarship. If you dont maintain a certain GPA (which may be different depending on field of study, HS GPA, standardized test scores, financial value of scholarship, etc) then your scholarship is not renewed.

There are no articles of kids not getting renewed on the academic schollies. There are no articles of kids having assistance provided (as Saban & Bama have) for kids to find a new scholarship when they are not on pace for renewal, need to go closer to home, etc.

It is too easy and convenient to paint Saban as the bad guy. The kids have responsibility too. Let's not forget that. Again, a kid on academic scholly who loses it because he/she failed to meet the agreed upon guidelines has no leg of complaint to stand on...nor does one in the same situation on athletic scholly.

Grow up Nancies.
