Serious Question: How Do Bama Fans Feel About Not Winning the SEC?

No flame intended. And, I know: 21-0. You killed us the other night and are the better team. But, does it feel incomplete at all winning the National Title without the SEC title, or do you not care? I can see how you wouldn't care because you avenged your loss to LSU. Just wondering if you see it as a bit of unfinished business or it you are satisfied.
And, this happens in basketball and baseball all the time, so it in no way takes anything away from your national title. But, the SEC and National Titles usually go together. You are the only ones to experience this. Just wondering how it feels.
I'd rather be in your shoes, by the way.

Obviously winning a conference title is important but I'll take the natty title

Nope. I'm enjoying this one more than the 09 one, because all of you rantards assured me that LSU could not lose in the dome. What happened alatiger? I thought it was a sure thing?

We would prefer to have won both, but if forced to choose we'd take the national championship every time.

Honest to God I hadn't thought about it one little bit. Your question made me think about it for about half of a second, and I little could not give a frick.

Of course I'd rather have both, but obviously if we can just pick one, I'm going with the NC.
It's not a big deal really.

We've got so many of those SEC trophies lying around. People in the AD use them for doorstops.

Would like to have both, but in the long run, the SECC is just a stepping stone to the crystal. The crystal is what the main goal is and we have it. So I am content

Winning the SEC to me as a Bama fan is at the top of the list, and here is why.
1.Just being in Atlanta means you have won your division(which now is the toughest in CFB).
2.Winning the SEC means you are the KING of the most competetive league in all of CFB.
In '09 beating Florida was far more satisfying that beating Texas. Why? Because is was a much tougher task.Being the best is your goal,LSU was the best, and will always be known as SEC champion.
I like our little trophy as well.

I think we need to this 8 more times to make the 22/22 go together better.
I'm not bothered by it.
