Re-watching the game. The 44 yarder Shelley hit at the end of the 3rd would have been good from 48-50. Seems like his range is increasing.

With the new kicker coming in next year, is there room for Foster as a Kickoff specialist who sucks at kickoffs?

He is still the kick-off man. You don't want Shelley kicking off. Now, Jay Williams may leave. He's been at Alabama for two years, and still hasn't beat out a walk-on at punter.

I don't think Foster or Jay williams is even on scholarship now. If not, no need to process.

He needs to lift more weights if he ever wants to be a successful kicker IMO.

If Griffith can just get the ball to the goalline consistently, Foster will no longer serve a purpose for us. That is so sad.

He tackles pretty well on kickoffs and he was a LB in high school. Keep on special teams, just not as the kicker. However, I would not be surprised if he is processed.

He's gotta work on getting more height at the line on his long kicks.

It pisses me off every time he almost falls down on his kicks.

Despite popular opinion, Saban doesn't process players for not being talented. They have to frick up off the field, not try, or just want to transfer on their own.
