I won't apologize for these instances no matter which school is spurned or benefits. These supposed "men" are 18 and should honor their committment. If you arent willing to live through with your choice do not make one until you are certain.

His parents should be blamed as much as him. No way I'd let my kid do what he did. Just completely classless.

This is pretty close to how I feel. It is not the end of the world when a teenager changes his allegiance. So he said he was going to AU and changed his mind during the silent period. No guarantees in this recruiting game and yes he might have handled it differently, but then I am not privy to all that is going on in his life. I am ready to move on and in fact have been ready for a while.
I must say since I made the choice not to invest so much of myself into the recruiting world. Life has been so much better and these type of situations have little effect.
