If Miles were coaching in a state with two SEC teams I don't think he'd have a shot at the success he's had at LSU.

He did just fine at Oklahoma State, where he was recruiting against Oklahoma and Texas for players. Turned them into a winner. And he's not just sustained a winner here, but he's taken the program to a level in which it has never been.

I'm not trying to call you out here, but you don't know about us. You don't know about our program. Much like I'm not going to talk about Alabama's program, simply because I don't follow Alabama football as closely.

LSU will be fine. Les Miles is a good football coach. One game doesn't wreck a program.

Congratulations on the win.

The respectful tone of your post is disarming - I appreciate it and I mean no disrespect to you or LSU. However, I disagree wtih you about Miles and I'd be very very dissapointed if he were ever hired at Alabama. I do follow LSU football closely - I live in New Olreans. I've seen LSU teams play some really horrific games under Miles and IMO the reason they lost was becuase of Miles inferior coaching Xs and Os. The Auburn game last year is an example - Miles and Chavis couldn't have schemed much worse. Alabama played a terrible second half against Auburn too but they weren't outschemed and outcoached. They got outplayed and that's a lot different than being outsmarted.
