You have obviously never met the man, nor have a clue about his character. He may have been ill-suited for the Alabama head coaching job, but a coward he is not.

You should only talk about what you know. I know Mike Shula and his wife and daughters. My wife is a college choir director - she and Shulas wife worked together and I met Shula on many occassions. This isn't about his character - it's about his coaching. As a coach he was a coward and he lost the team, the administration, and the fans. No one cried over his firing.

Mike is a good person, husband, and father but he's a terrible football coach.
