What an excellent breakdown.

Even excluding the prediction, it was a solid contribution.

Pretty fair analysis. I agree that we should see a lot more of Eddie Lacy since his turf toe shouldn't be an issue. On LSU's side, Kenny Hilliard should factor into the game a lot more as well. Neither played much on Nov. 5.

My guess is Bama will play man outside and bet that JJ can't throw over the top of the 8 and 9 guys in the box. UGA did this very well in the first half of the SECCG.

LSU needs to have some audibles to release a TE or back to the middle of the field in those situations, 'cause $$$$$ tends to leave the middle open believing that a college QB will panic and not be able to make the throw under duress.

It should be a hell of a game. I can't wait.

I have to say that I disagree with most of your points. I'm not saying that because you pick LSU to win, I'm saying you're just wrong about the majority of your opinions. They seem very shallow and Sportscenter derived.

Well, they're not wrong until they're wrong, sure.

to OP for an excellent unbiased post. It is possible!

One thing that we should discuss -- the games following our previous encounter and how they may impact the BCS game

How many catches did Smelley have against Auburn? If AJ can get him the ball like that and pick up some first downs with him it will help tremendously. Lacy should be able to pound out the defense too.

A lot of people see the "Game of the Century" part 2 rematch as a lopsided affair.

Don't know, Bama may keep it close for a while. I doubt Miles has to "kneel out the clock" until the last couple of minutes.

I agree 100%...

And I can honestly say, the 1st half of the SECCG is probably the scare the LSU offense needed going into the BCSNC game.
