If LSU's first half is anything similar to this

- Three plays, -3 yards, punt.
- Three plays, 8 yards, punt.
- Three plays, -2 yards, punt.
- Three plays, 9 yards, punt.
- Three plays, 9 yards, punt.
They won't win. Bama isn't UGA. They can hang with LSU for 60 minutes, UGA could only do it for 30. Not trying to flame, just trying to say that one of LSU's keys to victory is to have a good first half.

What if they play like they did in the 2nd half?

Somebody give this man a certified genius sticker.

39 carries - 302 yards
If Bama plays defense like that, we'll be in good shape.

If Bama doesn't get inside the red zone but once the whole game... That could be trouble too...
Plus going 2-6 in the FG department

Alabama out gained LSU in the first half 181 to 133. That worked out alright for LSU against Alabama then.

IF LSU runs the option 95% of the time, they'll have success, but this time we're actually prepared for it. Do you really think Bama gameplanned for a FCS team?

Y'all better hope it doesn't go into overtime, because the Alabama players were to big of pussies to keep going. That and the defense is slow.

I doubt LSU sleep walks through the first half the way they did for the SEC championship. All signs pointed to a LSU let down in that game after a grueling 12-0 regular season, huge matchup of #1 vs #3 in the last game of the year.
They woke up at halftime.

If Alabama's defense has a first half anything similar to this
9 plays 49 yards Passing Touchdown
3 plays -2 yards Punt
1 plays 82 yards Rushing Touchdown
9 plays 80 yards Passing Touchdown
You might be in trouble. But we're not Georgia Southern so who knows

If they all break their ankles in pregame warmups they wont win.
If they throw fifteen interceptions they wont win.
If a deadly disease breaks out tomorrow and kills half the world the game will be cancelled and they wont win.
See I can do that too

Maybe LSU might "won" the option.

Won't matter if they step it up like that, because UGA stepped down. Bama won't step down in the second half.
A key for Bama is using some of our back up LBs like Mosley (well he plays enough to be a starter, but he didn't on November 5th) and Hubbard, that way our guys won't be gassed late. (Though Hightower/Upshaw are slower than Harris/Johnson/Mosley, so work with that)
I'm not saying Bama's gonna come in and dominate, but it's like LSU is going to do it either.

I guess that's why you didn't prepare for the option last time even though you knew JJ would play and you knew he's run it against you for the last three fricking years. WITH an extra week to "prepare".

LSU fans still riding that? Jefferson, before that game, had very little playing time. It isn't farfetch'd to think that Saban/Smart decided they wouldn't use it much.

Saban is a lot of things but he's not a fricking idiot.
