You can have an AP title

Don't want it.

Meaningless to LSU as you have stated.

The BCS is it for us.

Although Ok St will have a claim on the AP if bama wins close Monday.

The sense of entitlement comes from the Bear Bryant years, when they got one more SEC game than everyone else and was always vandy or KY, all the refs where from bama, league office still there. They were going win the SEC almost every year. Hell, Bear used to get drunk playing cards with Charlie Mac at his house before the games in Baton Rouge. One year he supposedly was so drunk and hung over that Mac's wife had to drive him to the game. But he never treated friend or foe like an inferior POS or walked around with sense of entitlement like bama nation does now. They were big brother and only in their down years or when someone got a freak like Hersel Walker did anyone else have a chance. Then he retired and died.

Since that time even if Bama wins this NC game they will be 14-14 versus LSU, and have the same number of NC's. That is tough for them to handle, that when they have a great team "little brother" can still beat them as they have not seen that before. Bear has been died a long time, but they have not buried him yet. And they haven't noticed that "little brother" aint so little anymore and is a handful, a rival, and this year more than they can handle.
