The point is the Big12 did a good job replacing TAMU and Mizzou.

OK. So they lost Nebraska, Colorado, A&M and Missouri in just over a year, and added WVU and TCU. Yeah, the big 12 is awesome.

Bottom line, they added 2 decent schools, but will it be enough to stabilize the conference long-term? I don't believe so. Will they be a premier conference with no CCG, no conference network and likely a reduction in TV contract $$ due to a net loss in viewers? I don't believe so. So, I see these additions as a stop-gap to postpone the inevitable collapse.

And were still the second best conference this year.

Seems like almost a wash to me from a purely football standpoint.

I believe they are going nowhere.

6 year buyout now.

Texas has the Notre Dame tv deal, dominates a conference, holds their history together and keeps the SEC out of Texas for the vast majority.

Plenty of teams would jump to keep the Big12 alive and OU likes being in the middle of a conference when they are the top 2 teams surrounded by talent.

Oklahoma State loves not having Nebraska in the league and feeding off Texas recruits.

Like it or not the Big12 isn't going anywhere.
