Agreed. Seems like a Bleacher Report article written by a hack.

Remorse for WHAT ????????????
The Lowery thug started the whole mess at the bar by refusing to leave after having been asked by the management, as he was stalking his ex-girlfriend.
They finally kicked him out, whereupon his temper caused him to almost hit several bystanders in the parking lot - """"""""""""""""SOME""""""""""""" of whom were LSU football players.
Lowery STARTED the incident by getting out and pushing one of the players.
As far as the "kick in the head" myth - the girl that supposedly saw that was interviewed TWO WEEKS after the event. There was never any proof or identification or witnesses that she was even THERE the night of the incident! She was 'a friend' of Lowery's. C'mon!!!
Meanwhile, a friend of Jefferson's was interviewed by WWL-TV the next night and stated she was leaning against a car with JJ when Lowery exploded, and JJ actually tried to BREAK UP THE FIGHT by pulling people off of each other.
That could EASILY be misconstrued as JJ 'being involved' when in actuality, he was trying to be a peacemaker !!!!!!!!!!!

It's not JJ's fault that Marine couldn't take a kick to the head.

Still trying to use this irrelevant angle I see.

And by the time he gets to court in a few months he won't be charged with anything.
I guess if the witnesses change their story from previous testimony, that could happen.
Doubtful.
JJ made a big mistake, paid the price, and is moving on.
How he handles the issue and self-perception, is his business.
IMHO, I'd like team leaders to exhibit character and humbleness in all cases. Not certain JJ gets that part 100%.

Since we keep bringing up the fact that he is a Marine, I have a question. Do they teach Marines to head butt women and stalk women, etc? It is hilarious that none of you find a problem with that.
BRPD threw the book at JJ and tried to convict him, but they could not find any evidence.

they only did that because of how the ties the families have with the da. brpd might be more incompetent and corrupt than la politics and that is saying alot.
also coastie you know they find the first part acceptable they live in bama

Then Miles is an arse for sitting a totally innocent player.

As soon as the charges were dropped JJ was reinstated. Miles did the right thing. Way to turn this around though.

to retards that has some kinda relevance to this case even though he wasn't in uniform.

For the love of God, THIS!
I also don't understand why the fact that he was a Marine is even relevant anymore. If I'm not mistaken, the guy was not dressed in fatigues. Just a crew cut does not a Marine make.

Exactly.
BTW - Miles is not an arse.

You're welcome. If you want to stick your head in the sand, be my guest. If you want to think he was totally innocent, that's your business.

What if Miles had played him then the grand jury comes back with an indictment on the greater charge? Miles didn't do anything wrong in this situation.
