re: A nice twist on an old classic...

I like this better:

A tiger and an elephant are roaming the jungle when they both fall into a 10 foot deep sinkhole. They both posture to try to escape. The elephant states its case due to its size and strength, however it is unable to lumber to the jungle floor above.

The tiger uses it agility to maneuver out of hole and quickly makes its escape. The tiger offers to help the elephant out, but the elephant is too prideful / delusional and declines.

Weeks go by as other animal in the jungle try to assist but none of them prove to be worthy of the challenge. The tiger returns to the hole and offers the elephant a proposition. The tiger agrees to help out if the elephant "services" him. Begrudgingly, the elephant obliges. The tiger makes good on his word and pulls the elephant out.

Moral of the story: Know your limitations, respect when someone is better than you and...
