Even when you factor in Pacific Islanders, there aren't enough quality D-Linemen to make them top-to-bottom better than the SEC.
Even Mississippi State has two DTs that could play almost anywhere. They don't have that kind of depth at that position out west, and it's what separates the Southeast and the SEC from everyone else.

Not an insider, so I only got to read the first few paragraphs, but he pretty much states his premise right off the bat.
The Pac 12 will pass the SEC because they added two shitty teams and now play a snoozer of a conference championship game.
Makes perfect sense.

That's a pretty dumb statement. What separates the SEC is that the talent is right in their own backyard. Unless all those athletes start moving to other states the SEC will remain the strongest conference.
