The outpouring of hate directed toward Bama is something to watch

Thousands upon thousands of posts on ESPN and other national boards have football fans across the country pouring out hate toward Alabama. Of course everyone agrees LSU should be in, but they can't stand the Bama choice. Alabama's image is taking a hit. This bears watching. If it sustains, this may not be very good for the Alabama brand.

I'm not trolling guys. I know that people have stated that they dislike the BCS for years. Right now, however, that dislike for the BCS appears to be transferring to Bama. And of course the "we don't care about anyone but us" attitude of the Bama faithful fans that flame. I just wonder whether this is a transient thing or whether Bama will become a team to hate.

We've been a team to hate for a long time. Absolute dominance in the 60s and 70s, recent resurgence, Saban, etc. We are aware people hate us, hate our history, hate our number of MNC's and SEC Championships, hate our coach. This may increase that. We are aware of that. Still no fricks given.

Great, you were a big deal in the 70's. So were the Bee Gees. How are they doing these days?

Quite the contrary, it demonstrated the mindset that Bama fans are constantly ridiculed for. The same one that you're constantly displaying here. The "we're Bama, we're badass because we were great back in the day and managed to win one recently" mindset.
I understand, you have trouble grasping logic. It's ok. Just keep reminding yourself that you were the better team on November the 5th and that the score doesn't matter now. Then just say that we're scared and your evening will be complete.

So, what should we be worried about, exactly? LSU has now beaten Bama twice in a row and is 5 - 2 against them under Miles.
Should we be scared of Saban? He's 2 - 3 against LSU, including 1 - 2 in Tuscaloosa.
