Since 47 of the 50 states think Oklahoma State deserves to be in the title game over Bama, I'm guessing the backlash against the Tide will be huge.

what backlash? maybe this changes how the bcs is stuctured? ok, not a bad thing. alabama did not set up this system. and, every team that is in the mix for the bcsncg signed up to play in the bcs system, the fans that do not approve of what happens tonight, can lobby for their teams to opt out of the bcs or just shut up.

My experience is that most people around the country really like Alabama... and I've been lots of places. It's in the SEC that our team gets the most backlash. I think most reasonable people realize that as fans, if your team finds a way to the BCSCG, you take it. There isn't any backlash for LSU from 2003 or 2007, and each of those championships were full of controversy and drama too. Just maybe not to LSU fans.

If people want to react against the system, that's another thing. They can go read Death to the BCS and get all of the ammunition they need.
