How can anyone say this defnitively? This is what makes poll voters look retarded, and why the system has such a black eye. How do we know that Ok State is not as good or better than LSU or Bama? We don't know because LSU and Bama haven't played OK State, and furthermore they don't have any like opponents with Ok State. To just flat out say Bama is "clearly" better is unbelievable.

Yep.
If they lose, they are out. If they win, they are in. That's how it should be. Big12 playoff game (sort of), just like LSU vs Bama was the SEC playoff game (sort of).

Lulz. You should read the other link in this thread. Not only does OSU have to beat OU, they have to beat the piss out of em to be considered.

It's on like a fricking chicken bone.

Have you watched all three of these teams play? Do you believe LSU is by far the number #1 team? If you believe they are, then if you watched them play Alabama and then watched Ok State play any one of their games and can just make the comparison between the two, you can justify saying that LSU is #1 and Alabama is #2. I don't think it makes the voters look retarded, as you say. I think it makes them look knowledgeable about college football.

I think it's funny that Bowden and other Harris voters think LSU could be jumped by OSU if they lose to GA. NOT Alabama.
That "no rematch" bandwagon could come back and cut their own throats. I'd laugh my arse off.

LG your right but the difference is scoop possibly blinded by the purple and yellow sunglasses he has on and probably doesn't watch College football from 11am to 11pm like us and nothing beats the eye test....ROLL TIDE

Didn't Okie St lose to an unranked 24 pnt underdog? If they would have covered that and beat OU then they would be in, no? Bama and LSU have mirrored each other in practically every game played so if LSU is the undisputed #1 shouldn't Bama be #2?
