It does suck for LSU, no doubt about it.
BUT, all that is required is to be #2. Every other team has one or more bad losses, and whether you will admit it or not, Alabama and LSU are fairly even and better than everyone else.

so how does that justify LSU having to beat you a second time for the National Title?
Alabama didn't play Oregon, or WVU on the road when they were sky high. and they didn't beat LSU
The game was close...LSU is a little better this year...
The sitation calls for another team to get a crack at the title
LSU will represent the SEC
